Balendu Shekher Giri

I have held post-doctoral positions at ICAR NBAIM Mau, CSIR IITR Lucknow, IIT Guwahati, and IIT BHU after completing my PhD at RTM Nagpur University and CSIR-NEERI. I have also been a post-doctoral scholar at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA, and Hanyang University, South Korea. In December 2024, I was elected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences, India. With over 150 publications (7840 Google Scholar citations, h-index: 46, i10-index: 85), I have contributed to 200+ research articles. I have led six PI and Co-PI projects and am a fellow of the Linnean Society of London, as well as a life member of several scientific societies, including IFIBiop France and the Biotech Research Society of India.

With a strong research background, I have contributed to top institutes in India and abroad, including IIT BHU, IIT Guwahati, CSIR IITR, ICAR NBAIM, Hanyang University (South Korea), and the University of Hawaii (USA). I am a fellow of the Linnean Society of London and a life member of esteemed scientific organizations like the Biotech Research Society of India and IFIBiop France.
